Kirstone Cottage is said to be one of the oldest properties in Ambleside and dates back to the 15th Century. Nestling in the heart of this popular lakeland village, overlooking the famous 'Little House on the Bridge' and is handy for all the shops, pubs and restaurants. Located at the foot of Kirkstone pass, exploring the northern Lakes could not be easier with a trip over the scenic pass to Lake Ullswater, Keswick is only 20 minutes drive and Windermere is 10 minutes. This cosy cottage is well furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard and together with its central location is a 'little gem' of a cottage and is sure to appeal to those looking for a romantic break away at any time of the year.The cottage is heated by night storage heaters and comprises: Lounge furnished from Laura Ashley with electric fire, TV, video and CD player. Dining/kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and dining table. Bathroom with roll top bath and seperate shwer cubical, WC and hand basin. First floor: Attractive double bedroom furnished in pine overlooking the Little House on the Bridge.
All electric, logs and bed linen included. Cot available. Outside store for bikes. Car parking space for a small car.
