We are delighted to add this superb property to our range of cottages. The Byre is one of a row of three properties converted from an 18th century Westmorland Barn in 2004 and provides superb, contemporary style accommodation whilst retaining the characterful features. In addition, the cottage benefits from a HOT TUB on the decking to the rear of the property.

Situated in a truly rural location some four miles north of the market town of Kendal an ideal base to enjoy a relaxing holiday and still within a twenty minute drive of Windermere and easy access from the M6 and to the Dales.

The property is located adjacent to the former farm house and benefiting from superb views over the surrounding countryside to the Howgills. The central heated and double glazed accommodation comprises of entrance hallway with cloaks cupboard, open plan "L" shaped dining lounge with cosy wood burning stove, plasma colour TV and payphone. Dining area leading to the "Shaker" style kitchen well equipped with American Style fridge, additional integrated fridge and freezer, Range cooker, dishwasher, combination microwave oven and washing machine.

To the first floor there are three tastefully furnished bedrooms comprising of master bedroom with en-suite shower room and a wall mounted plasma TV, and double bedroom both with views to the Howgills, twin bedroom and family bathroom with shower above bath, wash hand basin and WC.

 Prices are per cottage per week NOT per person. Minimum number of 3 nights for short breaks. Short breaks will only be accepted out of season or on a last minute basis for high season.
