The attractive seaside village of Allonby is situated on the Solway coast between Silloth and Maryport. Allonby has a beautiful shingle and sand beach which has received awards for its cleanliness and safety, the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful sea views and sunsets over the Solway are to name but a few of its many attractions. The Cumbrian coastal way passes through the village, and walkers can enjoy many miles of sandy beaches. You may enjoy a pony ride on the seafront or for the more energetic windsurfing. Or why not relax on the beach with an ice cream sundae from Twentymans, famous in the area for homemade ice cream.Dove Cottage is a quaint 18th century cottage overlooking the village green commanding breathtaking views and sunsets over the Solway with distant views towards Scotland. The centrally heated cottage with exposed beams and an open fire comprises: Sitting room with gas fire plus further sitting room with open fire, TV and DVD player. Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Separate dining room. Utility room with washing machine and cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin.
First floor: Two double bedrooms, a single bedroom and family bedroom with double and single bed. Bathroom with shower over bath, WC and hand basin. Rear patio with garden furniture. Front sun room with seating overlooking the village green. Off road parking for 3 cars.
All Gas, electric and bed linen included.
