Strawberry Cottage has been renovated to a high standard in contemporary style. With ‘upside down' accommodation to take advantage of the superb panoramic views from the living room and the balcony. The cottage is next to the owner's home with walking to the Longsleddle Fells and Kentmere Valley and cycling opportunities through the nearby country lanes. Skelsmergh is a scattering of properties on the Shap to Kendal road situated some 4 miles north of Kendal and within 15 minutes drive of Windermere.The cottage comprises of: Entrance porch with washer/dryer. A ground floor double bedroom with patio doors and superb view to the nearby fells, twin bedroom and wet room with shower, hand basin and WC.
To the first floor there is an open plan dining/lounge/kitchen, with patio door leading to a balcony with superb panoramic views to the Kentmere Valley, Longsleddle Fells, the distant Lakeland Hills and Morecambe Bay. The kitchen is equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave & dishwasher. Dining area with door leading to the rear garden and terracing enjoying superb rural outlook to the nearby rolling hills. Bathroom comprising of shower above bath, hand basin and WC.
