Wharton Cottage is located in the heart of Cartmel immediately opposite the ‘Sticky Toffee Pudding' shop and within 200 yards of the Racecourse with all the amenities of the village close at hand.The village is steeped in history with the 12th Century Priory. The village is also home to the world famous Michelin star restaurant L'Enclume and inspirational chef Simon Rogan.
Wharton Cottage combines a mixture of contemporary style accommodation with characterful features that you would expect of a cottage in the medieval village of Cartmel.
The central heated accommodation comprises: Entrance hallway with payphone, lounge decorated in contemporary style with leather sofa, oak flooring, gas coal effect stove, TV, video, DVD player and CD Hi-fi. Breakfast room with dining table, Stanley style cooker and beautiful feature exposed stone walls leading into a pretty kitchen with Belfast pot sink and gas cooker. Rear porch equipped with slim line dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge/freezer. Bathroom with bath, hand basin and WC.
First floor shower room comprising shower, hand basin and WC. Family room with double and single bed and a further two double bedrooms all with pine furniture.
All gas, electric, bed linen and towels included. Cot and highchair also available. Private parking.
