At the gateway to the Northern Lakes sits the small gem town of Cockermouth, famous for being the birth place of William Wordsworth. The long and wide tree lined main street has many quality shops, pubs and restaurants. Leading off the main street are more picturesque streets, and squares. The river Derwent, Memorial Gardens, Wordsworth House and Harris Park are all within a five minute stroll of the town centre. Visitors to the town can tour and sample the produce of Jennings Brewery which is famous for making excellent real ales. The vale of Lorton, Crummock Water and Loweswater are a short drive away making Cockermouth an ideal location from which to explore the Northern Lakes.

Antrobus Court has recently been converted from what was originally an old coaching house dating back to 1761 and is situated in Market Place, which has many fine bars and restaurants. This first floor apartment retains many original features and is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The gas centrally heated accommodation comprises of:

Prices are per cottage per week NOT per person. Minimum number of 3 nights for short breaks. Short breaks will only be accepted out of season or on a last minute basis for high season.
