Situated midway between Penrith and Appleby in the village of Temple Sowerby, known locally as the ‘Queen of Westmorland Villages', is Bracken Cottage a contemporary 2 bedroom cottage. The village combines traditional cottages, some dating back to the 16th century built of ‘rubble and thatch', with modern houses built around the village green with maypole. Within a few miles of the village are a number of other quaint villages offering country inns and restaurants, the market towns of Penrith and Appleby are both within a 20 minute drive and the village has a hotel and church.Bracken Cottage is furnished and equipped to a high standard to provide a ‘home from home' feel. Is centrally located in a courtyard setting and built into the hillside, with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living areas on the first floor. The cottage is oil centrally heated and comprises: Double and twin bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC.
First floor: Lounge with colour TV, DVD player and patio doors to the garden. Dining/kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave. Utility room with washing machine.
All oil, electric, bed linen and towels included. Sorry no cot available. Private parking for 2 cars. Patio with furniture, lawned garden and bike store.
