Rose Cottage is a characterful mid terrace sandstone cottage located in the picturesque village of Greystoke. The village has a castle, village green, traditional pub and shop, there is also a nearby racing stables where the horses can regularly be seen being trained throughout the village. Within 15 minutes drive is the market town of Penrith offering a wealth of pubs, shops and restaurants and Lake Ullswater is also within 15 minutes drive making this an ideal choice for those looking for accommodation in a peaceful, relaxing location with activities close by.The cottage is equipped to cater for your every need and has a cottage style garden, perfect for relaxing in on a summers evening, with views over the adjoining fields to the church beyond and is within easy access of the motorway, the northern Lake District and the Eden Valley making this an ideal base to make the most of this scenic area.
The cottage is heated by night storage heaters and comprises: Dining lounge with sandstone fireplace with multi fuel stove, colour TV, DVD, CD player and sofa bed. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and microwave. First Floor: Double bedroom and bunk bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC.
