This sandstone cottage is situated in the courtyard of the former Victorian mansion. The cottage is situated ¼ mile south of the village of Heads Nook with a shop and pub within two miles. Heads Nook is located 7 miles south east of Carlisle, an ideal base to tour the Eden Valley, Hadrian's Wall and the Scottish Borders and is within a 45-minute drive of the Lake District.The property is furnished to a high standard with "up-side down" gas central heated accommodation comprising: Double bedroom with colour TV and video and en-suite shower room, with family bedroom with double bed and sofa bed suitable for children with colour TV & video and en-suite bathroom with bath, hand basin and WC.
First floor: Open plan living area comprising of lounge with colour TV and video, glazed door to "Juliette" balcony providing a pleasant view over the lawned gardens and country side beyond. Dining kitchen with electric cooker, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.
All electric and bed linen provided. Towels can be provided at an additional cost. Cot and highchair available. The property has a patio adjacent to the cottage and open lawned gardens.
The property is managed by the owners, who live in the adjoining property, who provide a warm welcome to guests and have thoughtfully provided for their every self-catering need.
