This ‘get away from it all' cottage is located on the edge of Bampton Common only minutes away from Haweswater and surrounded by open countryside. There is an abundance of wildlife to be spotted from the large enclosed garden including roe deers, foxes, red squirrels, golden eagles and buzzards. The reservoir is only a five minute walk from the cottage and is a local area of beauty along with many other walks which can be taken right from the door. This unpretentious farmhouse is located on a working hill farm with livestock, accessed by half a mile along a private farm track with the owners living next door and although the cottage is comfortably furnished it has all modern conveniences for your holiday requirements along with stunning scenery circumscribing the detached farmhouse and walking from the door.The detached farmhouse is comfortably furnished, has night storage heaters and comprises: Lounge with open fire, colour TV and CD player. Separate dining room. Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. Bathroom with hand basin. Shower room with hand basin and WC. First floor: Double bedroom. Second double bedroom with ¾ size bed and a twin bedroom.
All electric and bed linen included. Large enclosed garden with garden furniture and storage for bikes. Private parking for 3 cars. Please note this property is in open farmland and is accessed by a private farm track for half a mile, the nearest pubs and shops are 3 miles away. Please note as this is a working farm with livestock we request your dogs are kept under control at all times.
