Clinthead Cottage is a former farmhouse occupying a courtyard setting with south-facing lawned garden backing onto open fields with views to the nearby Castle Carrock Fells. The cottage sits midway between Great Corby and Cumwhitton, two picturesque, traditional villages in the northern Eden Valley within 7 miles of Carlisle and easy travelling distance of Hadrian's Wall and the northern Lake District. Clinthead is a courtyard development of 4 properties accessed down a ½ mile tarmac lane in an area of peace and tranquility, ideal for holidays at any time of year.The cottage is heated by night storage heaters and open fire and comprises: Dining/kitchen with limed oak units, laminated flooring, electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher and radio/CD player. Dining room with large dining table. Lounge with wood burning stove, colour TV, video and radio/CD player. Cloakroom with WC and hand basin.
Double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and en-suite bathroom with bath, hand basin, WC and shaver socket. Children's bedroom with 2'6 bunk beds and a single bed. Twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes and ornamental cast iron fireplace. Sofa bed with pullout occasional bed on the landing to sleep 2 people for extra versatility in sleeping arrangements. Bathroom with shower over bath and hand basin .
All electric, logs and bed linen included. Cot and payphone available. There is a generous lawned garden with shrubbery and fell views . Private parking for 4 cars.
