The village has a handful of houses, a church and the renowned Underscar Spa. With walking from the door over Skiddaw and Keswick close by, the best of both worlds can be enjoyed with the peace and tranquility of Applethwaite combined with the hustle and bustle of Keswick.Barn Croft is a Lakeland Stone built cottage in a peaceful location enjoying an open fire ideal for cosy evening in after a day on the fells and has magnificent Lakeland views from most rooms.
The cottage is oil centrally heated and comprises: Dining/lounge with Lakeland slate fireplace housing coal fire, colour TV, DVD player and video, superb views over the garden to Thornthwaite. Beamed sitting room with views. Kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and dining table. Bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC.
First Floor: Double and twin bedrooms. Second lounge with double bed settee. WC with hand basin.
All oil, electric and bed linen included. Cot available. Private parking. Lawned garden and patio area with furniture.
