The cottage is full of character with original oak beamed ceilings, and has been tastefully restored and upgraded to a high standard. Walnut Cottage provides an excellent holiday base for relaxation or for exploring the Lake District by car, by bicycle or public transport. A gate from the rear garden leads directly onto the fell and on to Ullock Pike and Skiddaw, just one of many wonderful walks you can take directly from the cottage.

Walnut Cottage is heated by night storage heaters and comprises: Dining hall with cloakroom off a charming comfortable Lounge with colour TV and DVD player. Dining hall. Cloakroom with WC and hand basin. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Shower room with WC and hand basin.

First floor: Two double bedrooms, one of which has a ¾ size bed. WC and hand basin.
All gas, electric, bed linen and towels included. Cot available. Private parking for 1 car. Garden with panoramic views across the lake and furniture.
