“Absolutely fabulous stay at the Tipsy Bee.”
The owners have thought of everything and it really is a home from home.
The decor is beautiful, beds super comfortable, towels/bedlinen crisp, finished to a very high standard and all modern appliances.
We had our 10month baby with us and managed to fit a travel cot in the top floor bedroom.
The living room was so cosy and we spent the evenings with the fire on playing board games.
The only negative I will comment on is the check in and check out time; I do think this should be ...

The only negative I will comment on is the check in and check out time; I do think this should be reconsidered. As a family of 6 travelling 2 hours to the lakes, we wanted to make the most of the days we had there so arrived for 11 and had to wait until 4pm to check in. This meant we had to pay for parking and leave our cars with our bags on show for 5 hours which was not ideal.
The same for check out, 10am is very early compared to hotels and many other rentals/ bnbs I have stayed at.
I would definitely recommend this place to anybody wanting to visit the lakes as a group!
