My career started in 2002 after studying tourism at college. I managed to land myself a sales role working for David and Julia back in the days when they owned Cumbrian Cottages. We had a great team and would often take trips into the Lakes where Gail would challenge us on our knowledge of the National Park.
In 2009 I made the decision to spread my wings and I moved to London where I worked long hard hours fitting in a full social calendar which I fully enjoyed. After 7 fun packed years the attraction of the Lake District was too much to resist and I moved back to Carlisle. Thankfully, David and Julia welcomed me back with open arms. Getting to grips with everything again has been fun and I’m amazed how much I remember, viewing all our beautiful cottages enables me to really sell them to our holidaymakers. It’s good to be back and I am looking forward to getting out on my bike and embarking on some of the lovely but challenging fell walks the Lake District has to offer.
