There are numerous walking opportunities from the door. The cottage is Ideal for mature couples who may have difficulty with stairs as it is all on one level.

Sitting in an elevated, idyllic, location 200 yards above the famous ‘picture postcard’ Ashness Bridge adjacent to the owners home in an area of peace and tranquillity that can only be appreciated by a visit. Whether it is to unwind and recharge your batteries or for the more energetic who will appreciate the walking from the door to the beauty spot of Watendleth including ‘surprise view’ or the walking and climbing opportunities from the Borrowdale Valley below.

The accommodation has a homely feel and whilst not pretentious or luxurious caters for your every need, but we feel sure the more mature holidaymaker will appreciate the accommodation all on one level, together with superb views over the adjacent paddock, including 2 resident donkeys and uninterrupted views from the 2 acres of woodland to Derwenwater and the Borrowdale Valley.
