Borwick Fold is located on a working farm on the fell side midway between Kendal and Bowness on Windermere within a couple of miles of Lake Windermere. It is in an area of peace and tranquillity, within a 10 minute drive of the hustle and bustle of Bowness. In close vicinity is Windermere Golf Club, Cartmel with its Priory and Races and Morecambe Bay.

The cottage is set in undulating open countryside in an elevated position on the Dalesway next to the owners working beef and sheep farm. The cottage originally dates back to the 1700’s and has been furnished retaining the traditional cottage style.
