Located on the coast to coast cycle route in the traditional cumbrian village of Gamblesby overlooking a small waterfall. This cottage accepts pets and has a cosy open fire to enjoy after a day exploring.
Gamblesby is a traditional Cumbrian village located at the foothills of the northern Pennines, located on the coast to coast cycle route and with walking from the door this cottage is sure to appeal to those who enjoy the great outdoors. In an area of stunning scenery the cottage overlooks a small waterfall which can be seen through the patio doors in the lounge. Built from local sandstone the cottage has an open fire which is ideal for cuddling up to after a hard day on the fells in the winter months and the garden with furniture is a place of peace and tranquillity for the summer months. The village of Melmersby, famous for its bakery, is only 5 minutes drive away and Penrith is a 20 minute drive on the A686 which was voted no 1 by the AA in the Ten Great Drives of some of the world's most beautiful roads.
The cottage is accessed by 2 steps, is all on one level and is centrally heated by a back boiler if the open fire is lit or with economy storage heaters for the milder months and comprises:
- Dining/lounge with colour TV, video, DVD player, hi-fi with CD player, open fire, dining table and patio doors offering views of the nearby waterfall.
- Kitchen with electric oven and hob, washing machine, fridge, freezer and microwave.
- Double bedroom.
- Twin bedroom.
