It is a 15 minute drive to Haweswater and only 20 minutes to Penrith and Ullswater. The cottage is also on the Coast to Coast long distance walking path and is ideally located for those who enjoy taking advantage of the country lanes by bicycle.

The Cow House is in the grounds of the 17^th century farmhouse, is refurbished from the original byre to retain a wealth of character features, with a light and airy, contemporary feel. The owner has managed to use her interior design skills to blend with the historical features to provide a luxuriously appointed, romantic cottage that is sure to be appreciated by those looking for a peaceful “bolthole”. There is a small, walled garden with raised decking accessed from the lounge with superb views to Cross Fell and the High Pennines, an ideal place to relax and unwind after a day's exploring or to have a BBQ.

The accommodation is oil centrally-heated and comprises:
