The picturesque village Bowland Bridge is five minutes drive away with its village pub but the renowned Mason Arms at Strawberry Bank is even nearer. The area is ideal for those who wish to explore the southern lakes and escape back to a tranquil haven after a days sightseeing.

Set off a quiet country lane, Danes Court Cottages were originally the vicarage to the Cartmel Fell Church and have been furnished and equipped to a high standard to cater for all your holiday needs. The vicarage has been converted into 2 luxurious self catering cottages retaining traditional features including open fires set in Victorian fireplaces, original stone flagged floors and with a large shared garden the cottages are a perfect retreat at any time of year. The owners have provided a large selection of books, games, music, films and maps for guests use.
