Quarry Rigg apartments have a fantastic central location in the bustling village of Bowness on Windermere. Situated on the eastern shore of Lake Windermere and built around the picturesque bay of Bowness, the village boasts a wide variety of attractions such as boating, the famous world of Beatrix Potter, golf courses, theatre, restaurants and of course an array of shops lined along the cobbled streets are all waiting for you to discover. Some of the areas most scenic walks are easily accessible from Bowness. A short ascent up Gummers How will reward you with stunning panoramic views or cross the lake by ferry and enjoy a waterside walk to Wray Castle. Exploring further afield is easy as the village has good bus connections to other Lakeland villages or by car you are only a mile from the A591 which is the main route into the Lake District and Windermere (1 mile away) has a train station. Bowness on Windermere is an ideal base from which to take in all that this popular Lakeland village has to offer.



Darcey’s apartment is a delightful two bedroom first floor apartment, boasting rooftop views to Windermere Lake. The property has been furnished and equipped to a high standard and is perfect for those wanting to be in the very heart of the Lake District.



The property is heated by electric heaters and comprises:



  • Open plan lounge/diner with TV and DVD player.

  • Kitchen with electric oven and grill, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and small washing machine.

  • Double bedroom.

  • Twin bedroom.

  • Bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC.



  • All electric and bed linen are included.

  • Cot and highchair available.

  • Parking space for one car to the rear of the property.


PLEASE NOTE There is a charge of £10 to hire a cot per week and £5 to hire a highchair per week. 1 dog is welcome at a cost of £20 per week.
