Located midway between Ambleside and Windermere which are both within a 5 minute drive, Troutbeck is a small traditional village with many walking and cycling opportunities as well as 2 pubs and the Holbeck Ghyll hotel and restaurant. Whilst staying in Troutbeck you’re ideally located to enjoy the wide range of shops, restaurants, pubs and experiences that the Lake District has to offer. For those looking for the ultimate Lake District experience there is Kankku Off Roading Adventures in Windermere, for those wanting to a relaxing break The Low Wood hotel is a short stroll away where you can enjoy beauty treatments and leisure facilities.

Gerand Cottage has recently been refurbished and now provides spacious modern accommodation perfect for a couple looking for a quite relaxing break away at any time of year. The Juliette balcony in the lounge upstairs takes advantage of the stunning views of the fells.

• All electric, bed linen and towels included.
• Private parking for 1 car.
• Outdoor patio area and seating.
• Highchair available, sorry no cot available however you may hire one from our Windermere office.
• Shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
• Rented alongside Thompson cottage located opposite the 2 properties can sleep a total of 7 people, ideal for families or friend holidaying together whilst retaining the own privacy.
