GRAYTHWAITE LODGE, Grange-Over-Sands, South Lakes

Situated in the pretty resort of Grange Over Sands on the fringe of the Lake District. Graythwaite Lodge sleeps 6/8 people and has the benefit of a ground floor bedroom and bathroom ideal for the less mobile.

Grange-over-Sands is a pretty resort on the Southern tip of the Cartmel peninsula, between the Lake District mountains and Morecambe Bay. Only seven miles from Lake Windermere and 15 miles to the heart of the Lakes, it is an ideal base from which to explore the outstanding scenery which the area has to offer. Grange boasts an enviable collection of interesting Edwardian shops and an immaculate public ornamental garden where visitors can relax by the pond. There is also a swimming pool, 18 hole golf course, tennis courts and bowling greens in the immediate vicinity.

Graythwaite Lodge has a light and airey feel and has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The lodge sits just behind the stone archway at the foot of the driveway to Graythwaite Manor where there are ten acres of landscaped and formal gardens, winding paths, where at every turn fresh interests please the eye, lovely lawns and magnificent trees. Guests at the lodge are very welcome to use the gardens, bar and restaurant at the Manor.

The centrally heated accommodation comprises:

• Lounge with gas fire TV, DVD and sofa bed.
• Dining/kitchen with range style gas oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.
• Two steps lead down from the kitchen to a ground floor double bedroom.
• Shower room with hand basin and WC.

• First floor: Double bedroom.
• Double bedroom with King-size bed and TV.
• French doors lead from the bedroom onto a balcony which has seating and views towards the sea.

• All gas, electric, bed linen and towels included.
• Private parking.
• Cot and highchair available.
• Private sunny garden to the rear of the lodge with patio, terrace and furniture.
