This cosy accommodation, ideally suited to couples or two couples holidaying together, is in the traditional Lake District village of Lindale with a wealth of activities close by to entertain you during your holiday.
Lindale is a typical south Lake District village, situated just off the A590 with easy access to Windermere and the pretty seaside town of Grange over Sands with supermarkets, shops and quality restaurants. For the keen golfer there are two golf courses nearby and Morecambe Bay and Cartmel are also within easy reach. There are a wealth of activities close by including Cartmel races, Holker Hall, Aquarium of the Lakes, Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway. Within a short drive is the Windermere steamers where a cruise around the lake will take you to many different villages where you can ‘hop off' and enjoy a days sightseeing or shopping which all help make the cottage an ideal base to enjoy the south lakes away from the hustle and bustle of central Lakeland. We've had a great holiday. 9 out of 10 for the weather. Its been great to get to get out and do some walking in such a lovely country. We enjoyed the Cartmel show, what a lovely village. The cottage has everything we need and is in a good spot for discovering Cumbria.

Had a really lovely holiday at your cottage. Very comfy beds and a great shower. We had dinner across the road atthe Royal Oak several times and were never disapointed, the food was delicious. We visited Grange, very pictureesque town and Cartmel lovely village, we were very lucky with the weather. We also visited Bowness and had a trip up to Coniston on the steamer yacht (Gondola) it was a very enjoyable experience. Much quiter than Windermere. We would love to come back again.

A very enjoyable short break in your warm and cosy cottage. A home from home and an ideal base to explore the Lake District from. The weather was very kind to us which can either make or break a holiday in this part of the country. We visited the Eskdale Steam Railway and the Ullswater Steamer using a combination ticket which worked very well and saved some money. The views are spectacular everywhere you go and the pubs are full of character, real fires and real ales. Overall a very relaxing and interesting break. We hope to visit again and would recommend your cottage.

A very enjoyable few days. The cottage is lovely and cosy and very seasonal with the little Christmas Tree. It's great to have a shower in the bathroom. We had a lovely walk from Coniston to Tarn Howes, very pretty views. Enjoyed the Derby Arms with its log fires. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This is the first time we have spent Christmas away from home and had a wonderful chiller week. Facilities at the cottage are great a real home from home. Shower is great and even -12 outside - very warm and cosy inside. Had a trip into Kendal bus stop at the bottom of the hill. Town has all the high street stores and supernmarkets. The Royal Oak pub across the road has good quality food. Looking forward to a return trip here in the new year. Thanks

Had a lovely week in this delightful area. There was so much to see and do we ran out of time. We made good use of the information and used several of the maps and guides on walks around Elterwater, Tarn Hows and Loughrigg. The cottage is very comfortable and located in a lovely spot. Thank you for a memorable stay we hope to return again soon.

Boy did it rain. Thunder and lightning at times! Fortunately for us only during the night and the Thursday morning. The rest of the time it was scorching, shorts and t-shirt weather-lovely. The cottage was a very well equipped well located base from which to explore. We particularly enjoyed Castlerigg and Keswick and sitting on the esplanade at Grange soaking up the sun.Peaceful and quiet. The cottage was very cosy to wind down in afterwards. We would definately want to return... preferably during the next heat wave. Many Thanks
