Sparks Bridge is within 3 miles of Newby Bridge and is 5 miles from the southern tip of Windermere and 2 miles from Coniston Water. It is an ideal location to visit the South Lakes and the nearby Morecambe Bay and enjoy the peaceful country lanes away from the honey pots of Windermere. Close by there is the South Lakeland Animal Park and Aquarium to keep the children entertained and the village of Windermere is only a 20 minute drive.

Laurel Cottage is in a row of former workmen’s cottages which has been converted from a 16th century Bobbin Mill to provide contemporary, family accommodation. The stone cottage is close to the river and within a 100 yards of the village pub, ideal for those who enjoy a gentler walk along the river and winding down afterwards over a cool local ale.

The accommodation is centrally heated and comprises:

• Kitchen with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and dining area with pleasant outlook.

• Private parking for 1 car plus on street parking.
