  • With all the horror of the floods in Cumbria, Yorkshire, & Lancashire,we arrived to a beautiful cottage warm, cosy, cumfy beds, sofas. All we needed was here. Lovely Xmas tree & welcome gift thank you. Although it was very wet during our stay in Cumbria we still had lovely days out to Coniston. Windermere & Ambleside. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage. Although we had booked plus dog decided to leave her at home and we are pleased we did as it meant we could rest & enjoy this lovely cottage without the worry of muddy paws etc. Also thank you to the caretaker Diana you do an excellent job. - Christmas 2015

    The Farndon Family

  • Lovely comfortable and well equiped cottage. Recent addition of log burner enhances cosiness. Owners, caretakers, neighbours all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Visited both pubs within walking distance. both fine but Farmers Arms food better. Found the Walkers tickets on steamers & launchers (Coniston & Windermere) woked well for us with medium distance walks. Nice breakfasts at Booths in Ulverston. - Oct 2015
