Shap is a small village in an elevated location amongst the fells of the Eden Valley located close to the M6 motorway and the west coast main railway line making it an ideal base to explore the Eden Valley, Cumbria and Lancashire. The village has 4 pubs, a small supermarket, newsagents, coffee shop, fish and chip shop, whilst the busier town of Penrith is only 10 miles north. Shap is ideally located on the famous Coast to Coast walking and cycling route.

Middle’un has recently been used as the owners own “bolthole from city living” and they have now decided to share this cosy apartment with those looking for affordable accommodation with walking and cycling opportunities from the door. Located on the edge of the village within 2 miles of the M6 and within a 20 minute drive from Windermere.
