Newlands Stables dates back to the 16th century and has just been converted into comfortable, contemporary style accommodation. The cottage has been furnished and equipped in a modern style whilst retaining many of the traditional features, making this property ideal for a family holiday.The cottage has been decorated to a very high standard.The balcony leading off from the lounge is ideal for warm summer evenings and the multi fuel stove is perfect for cold winter nights.

Situated in an elevated position at Bolton Fell End, 1 mile from Hethersgill with superb views in all directions the cottage is only 9 miles north east of Carlisle in an area of outstanding open countryside known as the Border Reiver Country on the English/Scottish border, Hethersgill is an ideal base to explore the Scottish Borders, Hadrian's Wall, Eden Valley and The Lake District.

Newlands Stable is located next door to Newlands Farmhouse and may be let together to sleep up to 13 people, making this an ideal cottage for large family get together whilst retaining some privacy.

The upside down accommodation is heated by under floor heating and a multi fuel stove and comprises:

• Master double bedroom with en suite wet room with hand basin and WC, this room has fantastic views out over the surrounding countryside.
