A delightful Grade 2 listed, cosy town centre apartment sleeping three, in an attractive courtyard setting just of the market square, with the shores of Derwentwater and Hope park are only a short stroll away.

The Old Hayloft is a grade 2 listed 19th Century property situated in an excellent central area of the town just off the Market Square in the former Packhorse Yard, where the coachmen and hauliers of the day stabled their animals, took their ale and food and slept. Today, Packhorse Court offers a unique collection of independently run shops in a picturesque courtyard setting.

All of Keswick’s amenities, shops, restaurants and pubs, are on the doorstep of this delightful apartment which also provides an excellent base for walking the Lakeland fells.

Keswick is the perfect holiday destination and winner of many awards. It has an obvious appeal for all ages and interests set against the backcloth of the spectacular mountains and lakes in the northern half of the renowned Lake District National Park. Whatever the season, the peaceful and unspoiled landscape and hospitality make Keswick and the Northern Lakes a great choice for a happy and memorable holiday. This light and airy apartment which is heated by electric heaters comprises:

  • Open plan living accommodation. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave and coffee machine.

  • Lounge/dining area with sofa bed ( bedding not provided ) TV, with digital recorder and DVD player.

  • Double bedroom with velux roof window.

  • Shower room with WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.

  • All electric and bed linen included.

  • Space for 1 car in a nearby private car park.

  • Towels can be hired from our office.



We had a five night stay here and could not fault the place.

Having stayed at other rentals I can say that the pictures you see are a true reflection of what it is actually like. Everything was immaculate. All the furnishings are lovely, very tasteful and fully co-ordinated. It is completely bijou but has everything you could need to make a stay comfortable. Whole flat a massive step up from a boring box or chinzy, second-hand 'character' style of many properties. I could stay here again and again and will. Another plus is that you can save a fortune in parking fees by staying here. As they say in my neighbourhood, it is a belta!
