This delightful 2 bedroomed cottage provides home from home accommodation, located in the heart of the pretty village of Skelton.
This delightful 2 bedroom cottage is attached to the owner's house. The cottage is well furnished and provides a ‘home from home' with a warm welcome from the owner and their family. Pottery Cottage is in the heart of the village of Skelton with post office, children's play area and pub within 100 yards. Skelton is on the edge of the Lake District National Park, and a short distance from Caldbeck and the northern fells of Blencathra and Carrock. Ullswater is 7 miles away and the market town of Penrith is only 10 minutes away by car. Keswick and Carlisle are 30 minutes as are activities for all the family, including rambling, fell walking, climbing, sailing, pony trekking and swimming making Pottery Cottage an ideal base for your holiday.
This converted pottery is gas centrally heated and comprises:
- Lounge/diner with electric fire, colour TV, freeview, DVD player, hi-fi and dining furniture.
- Kitchen equipped with gas cooker, fridge and microwave
- First floor: Double bedroom
- Twin bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC.

Pottery cottage was lovely and comfortable, with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The cottage was well equipped and we were made to feel very welcome. There is a pub with good food about 10 steps away and the cottage is only a short drive from the heart of lakeland walking.
The cottage is in beautiful surroundings and there is a garden patio with furniture so we could sit in the sunshine.
I would recommend the cottage as it was lovely.
