Shatton Lodge Barn is located in the Vale of Lorton, midway between the village of Lorton and the pretty market town of Cockermouth, a 20 minute drive over Whinlatter Pass will bring you to Keswick. The western lakes is less frequented and features Loweswater, Crummock Water and Ennerdale winner of Britains Best View. There are ample walking and cycling opportunities from the door and a wealth of shops and restaurants can be found in both Cockermouth and Keswick.

Shatton Lodge Barn has been converted retaining a wealth of character including cruick beams, stone sconces together with modern day appointments making this a superb holiday cottage. The barn sits within the grounds of the owners holiday home and has private gardens to the rear and superb views to Lorton Vale to the front of the property.

The accommodation is centrally heated and comprises:

• Lounge with superb view, TV, DVD player and i pod dock.
• Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer and dining area.
• Shower room with hand basin and WC.
• First floor: The galleried area overlooks the lounge with a double bed, please note this has restricted head room.
  
• All oil, electric, bed linen and towels provided.
• Cot and Highchair available.
• The property is approached by a gravelled sweeping driveway with private parking by the door.
• To the rear is a walled garden mainly laid to lawn.
