Grange Over Sands is a “Victorian seaside resort” with an abundance of local shops and café’s within a couple of minutes walk from the cottage. Grange is located on the Morecambe Bay nature reserve with over 200,000 birds visiting each year. Within a five minute drive is Cartmel with Priory and the renowned Races, Holker Hall and Leighton Moss Bird Sanctuary. A ten minute drive north brings you to the southern tip of Windermere and a further ten minutes north is Grizedale Forest including Coniston and Hawkshead.

For the railway enthusiast this must be an ideal place to spend your holidays as it is situated on the platform with a regular service passing through the station. The accommodation has a “quirky feel” to it with an ecelectric mix of furniture retaining the period charm to provide an individual cottage of real merit.
