Grasmere is located at the northern tip of Grasmere Lake and has a variety of tearooms, restaurants and traditional village pubs making it perfect for those looking for a relaxing holiday. With an abundance of high and low walks straight from your door, Grasmere is ideally based to enjoy a walking holiday. Keswick is a 15 minute drive away and is also on the main bus route so you can leave your car behind whilst exploring the Lake District.

Grasmere is the home of the world famous Grasmere Gingerbread which is a ‘must try’ during your stay, the original shop is located next to St Oswald’s church and was once the school for the village, The Heaton Cooper Art Gallery and Dove Cottage which was once home to William Wordsworth helps makes Grasmere a popular holiday destination at any time of year for young and old alike there really is something to suit everybody.

Tanner Croft Cottage is a traditional Lakeland stone built cottage and is full of charm and character, located within a few minute’s walk from the main bus stop, meaning you can leave your car behind and be within easy reach of Ambleside and Keswick.

The cottage is gas centrally heated and comprises:
