This 2 bedroom first floor apartment is one of 5 in a courtyard setting close to the Solway Coast, Western Lake District and with easy access to Carlisle and the Scottish Borders. Located on a working farm, the kids can meet some of the farm animals or picnic in the gardens.


Croftlands Court is located 4 miles from the Victorian seaside town of Silloth with village green overlooking the Solway Firth, shops, restaurants, bars and award winning golf coure. Within a short drive is the western Lake District with Buttermere, Crummock Water, Ennerdale and Wast Water, Carlisle, Hadrian’s Wall and Scottish Borders are also within easy reach making this an ideal base from which to explore Cumbria.


Converted from a former 17th century coach house and stable block to 4 modern apartments and 1 cottage all retaining exposed stone walls and beams, they will appeal to families or couples looking for a base from which to explore the Lake District in an area of peace and tranquillity. The two ground floor apartments are suitable for guests in wheelchairs with wider doors and lower kitchen units. Located on the owners working farm guests can enjoy meeting the animals including the hens, ducks, rabbits and no farm is complete without a friendly dog and cat. The farm also has its own tea room and bakery where you can sample the home baked cakes.


All of the properties have oil fired under floor heating, shared use of the courtyard with seating and BBQ, large grass garden area with donkeys and hens, onsite laundry (additional charge) and bikes, pedal tractors and a large indoor trampoline are available for guests use.


The Granary is on the first floor, has oil fired under floor heating and comprises:
