The Stables sleeps 2 and is perfect for a couple looking to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Lake District, with walks from the door its an ideal base for you to explore the surrounding area.
Located in the Lake District National Park at the foot of the Kentmere Valley, half way between the popular village of Windermere and the traditional county town of Kendal, both located only 5 miles away. The location is ideally suited for those wishing to leave the car behind and explore the fells and mountain by foot or bike. For those wishing to explore Lancashire and Yorkshire by car the M6 Motorway is only a 15 minute drive away.
The village of Staveley is only one mile away and has numerous shops, pubs and cafes for you to enjoy an afternoon tea in after a long day walking or a romantic evening meal. There is also a bike hire shop in the village and a brewery.
Situated in an elevated position with superb panoramic 360 degree views, the cottages sit around the central farmhouse. The four properties date back to the 17th century and are traditionally constructed with local stone and slate, each has its own garden and private parking . Inside the cottages are individually and tastefully decorated to make the most of the rustic beams and slate construction.
The Stables is almost all on one level with 3 steps leading down from the lounge into the bedroom, is heated by night storage heaters and has an open fire and comprises:

3 steps lead down into the double bedroom with views over the garden towards the surrounding fells.
