Stunning views to Loch Etive and Ben Cruachan can be enjoyed from the lounge and garden of this spacious croft cottage. Located a 5 minute drive from Oban with shops, restuarants and ferry rides to the Western Isles, an ideal base from which to explore this lovely part of Scotland.


Lerags Glen is located 3 miles from Oban, the Gateway to the Isles, in Agyll. Oban has a colourful community spirit with regular boating regattas and the picturesque harbour town is home to some of the best fish and chip shops and seafood restaurants in Scotland with the local fisherman providing a daily source of fresh fish. With shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep you can enjoy village life without travelling far but head inland and the landscape changes to a rolling countryside filled with lochs, castles, forestry walks and much, much more. The local ferries will take you to The Isles, consisting of Kerrere, Lismore, Staffa, Ulva, Iona, Coll, Tirea and Mull, where you can visit the town of Tobermory which is better known today as Balamory from the popular children’s TV series. The islands are a must whilst holidaying in Oban, the scenery and landscape on each is dramatic and varied with each isle.


This spacious croft cottage has a large private garden and breathtaking panoramic views of Loch Etive and Ben Cruachan. In an idyllic position with access to the loch waters edge for walks and picnics and to the west wide open field where deer can be spotted. Known as the ‘Seafood Capital of Scotland’, Oban is a 5 minute drive with shops and restaurants, you can even explore the Western Isles via one of the ferries departing from the harbour.




The cottage has electric central heating and comprises:



  • Lounge with freeview TV, DVD player and patio doors with views over the Loch.

  • Large dining/kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.

  • Master double bedroom with king size bed.

  • Two twin bedrooms.

  • Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.




  • Bed linen and towels provided, electric charged by meter reading on departure.

  • Cot and highchair available.

  • Ample private parking.

  • Large private garden with patio area, garden furniture and BBQ.



    PLEASE NOTE There is a charge of £10 and £5 respectively to hire a cot and highchair per week.


    2 Dogs are welcome at a cost of £20 per week per dog.
