COTTAGE GRADING
All of our cottages have been graded. Some have been graded by Visit Britain (formerly the English Tourist Council) and the remaining by ourselves. The cottages which have been graded by ourselves are simply waiting to be inspected by Visit Britain as we only carry out this procedure annually.
Visit Britain developed common standards for the quality assessment of self-catering accommodation and every one of our cottages are inspected annually by Visit Britain.
There minimum entry requirement to be recognised by Visit Britain and to obtain a higher rating, an establishment must provide enhanced quality across all areas of;
- Exterior
- Cleanliness
- Management efficiency
- Public area e.g lounge and dining rooms
- Bedrooms
- Bathrooms & WC
- Kitchen & additional facilities
