Keswick Mountain Festival 2022

Dates are now confirmed as 20-22 May – Early Bird Tickets now available! The Festival in the Outdoors brings music, food, sport and general joy to Keswick for a weekend.

Great British Food Festival  Lowther Castle July 2 and 3rd 2022.

The magnificent backdrop of Lowther Castle provides the setting for this weekend celebrating food. With Food & Drink Marquees, Chef Demo Tent, Kids’ Cookery Tent, Bake Stage, Artisan Talks, Live Music Stage, plenty of food and food-related stalls, the Great British Food Festival returns to Lowther for a second year.

Lake District Summer Music Festival 29 July – Sunday 7 August 

From string quartets, jazz ensembles and solo recitals to family events, walks and the next generation of exciting young artists, there’s so many new things to seehear and experience.  Vaughan Williams plays a major role in the 2022 festival during the 150th anniversary of his birth.  With a mixture of live and online events, the full line up will be announced April 2022.

Cartmel Agricultural Show – 3 August 2022.

Get set for a brilliant family day out at a traditional agricultural show, lovingly nicknamed The ‘Royal’ Cartmel Show by locals, with an amazing array of livestock,  cattle, sheep, horses to poultry, rabbits and more. Try local delicacies in the food hall and if you like to cook, visit our Food Theatre to watch demonstrations from top local chefs.

There’s a huge range of activities on offer, from archery to circus skills, bouncy castle, birds of prey and a few creepy crawlies too. Shop stalls selling locally handmade gifts, clothing, homewares, outdoor and leisure goods and admire the traditional skills of craftspeople in the horticulture and village industries marquees.
