This Scandinavian lodge is located on the banks of the River Greta, sheltered by woodland.

The two bedroom lodge sleeps up to six people and is only a five minute walk from the centre of Keswick with its wealth of amenities. Keswick Bridge is a superb development of 20, one, two and three bedroom luxurious Scandinavian lodges situated in sheltered woodlands on the banks of the River Greta in a peaceful backwater of the ever popular Keswick. The lodges are centrally heated and comprise: Master double bedroom with luxurious en-suite bathroom. Beautifully appointed bathroom with luxurious suites and electric showers and include in each en-suite bathroom. Twin bedroom. Hallway with large heated drying/storage cupboard, ideal for drying walking gear. First floor: Open plan lounge/kitchen/diner.

Lounge with sofas, fully fitted wall units housing a pull down double bed, stereo unit and TV (some satellite channels). Dining area.

Kitchen with dishwasher, electric cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. Balcony overlooking the River Greta or with woodland views to Walla Crag. The spacious grounds are ideal for children to explore having a childrens play area, a wider open grassed area bordered by the river to one side and the woodland to the other, while still in sight of the lodges. Bed linen and towels supplied( sofa bed linen and towels are on request please advise if required) electric is charged on departure. Shared utility room with washing machine and dryer. The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
