“Great town centre location, a lovely apartment.”

...spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished and excellent and efficient facilities....great central heating, cooker, dishwasher and washing machine - all used and all working perfectly...lovely view from the lounge window. Great access to the pubs and restaurants in Keswick and the local fells - Latrigg, Cat Bells and Skiddaw all completed in lovely autumn sunshine. Quite magical at times. We loved it!

“Fabulous clean apartment, larger than we expected.”

Great location right in Keswick town close to shops, restaurants, pubs, Derwent Water and mountains. Only drawback is being woken early by delivery lorries and waste recycling lorries, but if you don't mind getting up early then that's not a problem! Wasn't bothered by any late night noise.

“Brandlehow is a very nice, very spacious and well equipped apartment.”

We liked the central location, close to all the Pubs/Shops/Restaurants etc., though sadly, due to COVID, we were unable to benefit from the great location. The COVID precautions within the building were good with plenty of hand sanitiser and wipes available along with appropriate advice notices. The price for a one week stay was very good. On the downside, it was a bit noisy overnight. In the evening it was noisy from people in the street and in the (very!) early morning it was noisy from vehicles loading/delivering to the surrounding shops. Luckily we are good sleepers so not a major problem! Possibly double glazing would help? And, slightly more annoyingly, the wifi was poor and sometimes seemed to be non existent. This was quite frustrating. The poor wifi is the only thing which would make us think twice about going back.

“The apartment was in a convenient location in the centre of town Bit of noise Saturday night, but the rest of the week was fine.”

A lovely apartment, well decorated and furnished. Kitchen had everything you may need. Good cooker. En suite was just a shower. No toilet etc , but the main bathroom was good. Needs blackout curtains in the second bedroom, there was a very bright street lamp directly outside the windows. Enjoyed our stay, would return!

The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone.
