    “Hi,the only serious issue with the property/facilities is the recycling.”

    To not have separate bins for the food/glass/plastic/metal is a joke. I appreciate it is listed as a business so the bin men will not collect as a residential property but you must take responsibility for the recycling. There is only 1 place in Keswick where you can recycle again crazy!

Resting in an elevated position in Keswick is this welcoming, detached house of Cloud End. Enjoying glorious views from the roof terrace over Bassenthwaite Lake the encompassing mountains of the Lake District National Park, Cloud End makes for a wonderful retreat for a family or group of eight's scenic getaway. Make your way inside to be welcomed by a stylish open-plan living space, where ample, leather seating awaits in front of the TV, where you can enjoy a movie night with your loved ones as you cosy up to the gas fire. When you're feeling peckish, continue to the contemporary kitchen, a space boasting dark, wooden units that house an array of high-quality appliances, so the chef of the group can whip up a delicious meal with ease. Dinner can be enjoyed with all the family at the large dining table; why not open a bottle of wine and toast to this magnificent escape? As the day draws to a close head along the first floor to find two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with corner bath, walk in shower, WC and hand basin or head down the wooden staircase to the lower ground floor where you will find two double bedrooms both with en suite shower rooms with walk in showers, WC and hand basin. In the morning, savour a steaming cup of coffee in the rear garden, before venturing out to explore the town of Keswick. Keswick boasts a great variety of attractions to explore, including the Derwent Pencil Museum, Puzzling Place and Keswick Museum, whilst also backing onto the magnificent Derwentwater. The walkers of the group can venture to Scafell Pike for a day packed with hiking, whilst those seeking other outdoors fun can venture to Ullswater to partake in an array of watersports. Spend the day at Bassenthwaite Lake, where the Lake District Wildlife Park, Cockermouth Golf Club and walks to Whitewater Dash and Skiddaw can be found nearby. The bustling towns of Cockermouth and Kendal aren't far and make for fabulous outings for all the family. For a break to remember, look no further than Cloud End.

The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
