Settled in a tranquil holding in the charming town of Keswick, is this wonderful, First floor apartment, Derwent Haven. Enjoying a central location, with fascinating attractions just paces away, this pretty dwelling is the perfect holiday for four. Upon arrival, find your designated parking space, where you can manoeuvre your belongings inside with ease and enjoy the refreshing countryside air on your face. Entering the property, you will find a kitchen to the left perfect to prepare home-cooked meals, make use of the electric oven, hob and microwave, as well as the washer/dryer, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Stepping through the property, discover the lounge/diner which is well-presented in warm shades creating a relaxing ambiance, with a sumptuous sofa and armchair to relax on in-front of the Smart TV. Resting in the corner of the lounge is a traditional dining table, offering four chairs where you can tuck-into a tasty meal or play a board game or cards. Savour a glass of chilled wine and reflect on your day whilst watching the sun slowly sink. As the sky grows dark, head for a well deserved soak in the bathroom. A scenic car journey will lead you to the stunning town of Cockermouth, absorb unique exhibitions at Castlegate House Gallery, travel back in time at Cockermouth History Wall or for a peaceful picnic visit Harris Park. Further afield rests the spectacular scenery of Ullswater, Crummock and Buttermere, enjoy a cruise on Ullswater Steamers whilst admiring the splendour of nature. The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater.
