    “Central location yet quiet and peaceful, extremely well-equipped, stunning views, comfortably and tastefully furnished - this place really did have it all!”

    In 15+ years of self-catering we can safely say this has been the most well-equipped place we've stayed at - the owners really have thought of everything! The location is perfect, only a few minutes from the centre of Keswick, and the supermarket Booths is a stone-throw away, which proved very handy on the night we needed to stock up on some essentials. Derwentwater is a pleasant fifteen minute-walk from the flat, and there are a number of beautiful spots within a short drive; some of the places we visited were Cat Bells, Castlerigg, Whinlatter Forest and Aira Force. The flat was a wonderful place to return to after a day's walking; it is clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and in peaceful surroundings. The views are spectacular and our children in particular loved waking up to the sight of pheasants and ducks outside their bedroom window. We don't normally visit the same place twice as we like to experience different areas but for this place we may have to make an exception! Highly recommended!

A very well appointed second floor apartment with stylish and comfortable furnishings.

The apartment is within easy walking distance of Keswick town centre and all its amenities. Elm Court is conveniently situated in a quiet location just off the town centre a perfect base for those who wish to explore the delights of Keswick without having to use a car.

The shores of Derwentwater, the Theatre by the Lake, Keswick Leisure Pool and Fitz Park are all a gentle stroll.

There are many beautiful walking opportunities in and around the town and for the more energetic Skiddaw, Latrigg and Catbells await you, well worth the hike the views are fantastic. Home from home!

This second floor apartment has been tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard, along with views over the River Greta and the benefit of private parking it is sure to be an ideal and central base for either a relaxing or action packed holiday. The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
