    • “Just returned from a girls weekend at the Foxs Den. Beautifully appointed and decorated first floor apartment right in the centre of keswick. Both rooms are lovely - twin and a double with an amazing bed with a tv in it. Bathroom is good with a large shower and the kitchen whilst small, has everything you need. There's a parking space too. Definitely recommended as a excellent base in Keswick.”

    • “Stayed at Fox's Den for 3 nights in July and could not be more impressed with the apartment. We were a bit sceptical upon booking as we couldn't find any previous reviews however we were very pleasantly surprised on arrival. It's located right in the centre of Keswick and must be newly done up as it was very clean and modern inside. It's decorated to a high standard and has everything you could need for your time away including tea/coffee, cleaning equipment, washing up stuff, tea towels, even down to kitchen foil which I have not had in a self catering apartment before. The shower is decent and is a big cubicle so no elbow banging when I washed my hair. The bed was a bit firm for my liking but big and comfy enough with a huge TV built in. The only downsides are that the there is a lot of street noise from the restaurant across the road which wasn't great for us with a toddler who was in bed by 8 (although it didn't actually wake him up luckily) and it's a bit of a pain getting in and out the apartment with lots of bags or a pram due to all the doors and stairs to get in. I would definitely stay here again as I think the apartment is a great price for what you get, my Mum and Dad paid more just to stay in a twin room next door at the George pub.”

    • “Fantastic location, beautiful little apartment”

    Mr Mcaulay, October 2018

    • “Could do with a blind in kitchen, otherwise a delightful flat with high standard furniture and fittings. Warm and cosy with gorgeous shower. Shame there had been a washer there before, but no longer, so will consider booking their flat above which does. Was pleasantly surprised only muffled sounds from street below in evening. A little awkward approaching main entrance but once inside no problems.”

    Mrs Bevilacqua, Peterborough, September 2018

    • “Lovely apartment in centre of town. Met all expectations, will book again in the future.”

    Mr Southern, Blyth, August 2018

    • “I love this flat, it is so convenient as our parent's own and rent out the flat above this one, so you can rent both flats out with family and have privacy and the convenience of being right next door. We have rented this flat twice now and have already reserved a third time. It is clean, well stocked and has nearly everything one would need... if I had to think of one thing, it would be nice to have a washing machine, given the weather in the Lake District and the need to wash children's clothes. But overall it is a wonderful flat, with a great view of activity in the town. Many thanks!”

    Dr Lloyd-fox, Baldock, August 2018

    • “The apartment was neat clean and modern to a high level. Downside ,The shower screen hits the sink when you open it,it could smash, needs a sliding door. No toilet roll holder. Otherwise everything else perfect. Score 9/10”

Mr Buckle, High Wycombe, June 2018

    • “Had a wonderful short break here, in the most comfortable of surroundings, would definitely recommend to others.”

Mrs Hall, NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, April 2018

    • “I think the price was too steep charging £366 for two nights for two people, especially as it was very noisy in the apartment with people above, double glazing did not stop the noise from the street and from the fan on the wall near the rear bedroom attached to the restaurant, also there were no games in the apartment and no mirror in the rear bedroom. The alley way was dirty and not pleasant to walk up in the evenings. people from the restaurant smoked and chatted outside below the rear bedroom window which was also unpleasant for a non smoker. If the price would have been lower then I would have given it higher marks but for that kind of money I expected it to be quiet. The key provider was excellent and should be praised for them allowing us to go in early and to be very attentive.”

    Ms Flanagan, Bolton, April 2018

    • “A beautiful property right in the heart of Keswick. The flat was very clean, well presented and luxurious. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and had a lovely stay.”

    Mr Anthony, Dunfermline, April 2018
