The property

This delightsome, mid-terrace cottage, Holly Cottage, lies in the heart of Keswick.

Just moments away from the Lake District National Park's finest waters and peaks, Holly Cottage is the perfect home-from-home for a small family or group of three.

Upon entering the property, you will be delighted to find a charming sitting room, where you can gather around the TV with Freeview and relish a movie marathan after a day packed with sailing or walking.

Move across the ground floor to find the kitchen/diner, a delightful space hosting wooden fittings and a range of appliances.

When dinner is ready, enjoy it with your loved ones at the dining table with stools, crack open a bottle of bubbly before night falls, freshen up before bed in the nearby cloakroom or continue upstairs to the bathroom for an soak in the bath with shower over.

The single is ideal, with a hand basin and ample storage available for your belongings, whilst you can rest in the lovely double room that is bathed in light, thanks to its large window and also provides you with a vanity and basin.

Everything you need for a self-catered stay is within easy reach, with a supermarket situated directly opposite the cottage, as well as a plethora of eateries dotted throughout the town, including many very highly rated restaurants and eateries.

For more outdoor fun, wander west to find the enchanting Whinlatter Forest Park, or continue north to find the Bassenthwaite Lake National Nature Reserve, where not only the lake itself awaits, but the nearby Mirehouse Gardens, Lake District Wildlife Park and Skiddaw can be found close-by.

For a day out with a difference, visit Cockermouth and tour Wordsworth House and Percy House Gallery, stroll along the winding river of Derwent, or enjoy a golf tournament at the nearby club.

The Park is home to some amazing towns, including Ambleside and Bowness-on-Windermere, where more lakeside activities await.
