    “Cottage was lovely great location.”

    However, for the price we paid for the week the bedding was old and washed out, pillows were very uncomfortable and seen better days, and most of the towels smelled musty, all of which can be easily remedied, apart from that we had a fab week and would return.

Inglewood is a fabulous cottage situated in the heart of the popular Lake District town of Keswick, this Keswick cottage which sleeps 5 has been tastefully furnished to a high standard and is sure to appeal to families or groups of friends looking for a central base from which to explore the stunning area which surrounds Keswick.

The shores of Derwentwater, Theatre by the Lake, miniture golf course and Keswick Leisure Pool are only a short stroll away making this a perfect base for an enjoyable and memorable holiday. This delightful cottage is situated in the bustling market town of Keswick, a walkers paradise surrounded by stunning and spectacular scenery.

The lower slopes of Skiddaw, Latrigg and the jaws of Borrowdale Valley are all within walking distance.

Other beauty spots include Whinlatter Forest, Ashness Bridge, Surprise View and of course the shores of Derwentwater offering a wide variety of activities including boat hire and cruises.

For the less active there are numerous shops, pubs, restaurants, museums and parks and of course The Theatre by the Lake.

The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
