The property

The Old Mill is a lovely second-floor apartment in Keswick, in the Lake District National Park, located in the centre of the town.

The apartment is a fantastic hideaway for two to explore the breath-taking countryside and small towns, with contemporary furnishings and rustic exposed beams.

Before settling into your home-away-from-home, you'll have a parking pass for a local car park with an electric charging station.

A bright and spacious open-plan living room greets you, complete with a Juliet balcony from which you can admire Derwent Street while sipping your morning coffee.

Stock the cupboards in the fully-equipped kitchen, which includes an electric oven and cooktop, dishwasher, and washing machine, as well as dining seating for four; it's the perfect setting for a romantic meal for two or a takeaway after a long day!

Freshen up in the shower as the sun sets before curling up between the sheets to relax, ready for the day's adventures!

From restaurants and pubs to charming tearooms and antique stores, Keswick's wonderful amenities and activities are just a stone's throw away from The Old Mill.

On rainy days, visit the Pencil Museum, Keswick Museum, or The Puzzling Place, while summer evenings are best spent at Hope Park or Theatre By The Lake.

There are plenty of treks, watersports, and sailing opportunities along Derwentwater to help you make the most of your beautiful surroundings; don't forget your walking boots if you want to climb Skiddaw and Blencathra for rewarding views at the top!

The picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake National Nature Reserve is close by, while Ullswater is home to the Aira Force Waterfall and boat tours to lakeside villages like Pooley Bridge and Glenridding.
