“A great place to stay - would certainly recommend it.”
Conveniently situated. Parking space a bonus though glad we don't have a big car!
Conveniently situated. Parking space a bonus though glad we don't have a big car! Only let down was there was no iron meaning we couldn't wear a couple of tops The information folder stated there was a VIP card available but we couldn't find it - didn't stop us enjoying our visit though. Would definitely consider a return visit in the future
“Great little flat right in the center of Keswick.”
Perfect for convention goers. Well equipped in the kitchen, the bed was great and comfortable, its own parking space was super convenient, if a little on the tight side, Booth's just round the corner. Loved it. Only downers for us was the early 10 am checkout which meant having to move out early, find and pay for parking for a few hours (not cheap) while the seminar finished. The other one was lack of internet provision. The 4G signal was fairly flaky in town and in the flat and so it would have been good to have that provided. However, if that's not a high priority for you, this place is great.
“Returning for another visit this year, (3rd year) the property continues to be of a high standard, the recent improvements to the heis considered excellent However, the lack of WiFi is becoming a bit of an issue.”
The other drawback is in regards to the towels supplied, which are not over generous, worn and generally of a poor quality for such an apartment. Having said all of this is possible that we will return as the location and a parking space is a definite advantage
“The good - fantastic location, clean, parking space, welcome pack The not so good - the bed was very hard”
“The apartment was very well appointed with everything required for a lovely holiday, it was spotlessly clean and in a great location for access to shops, pubs and places to eat.”
It was the first time we had used Sykes Cottages, but would certainly do so again as they were efficient and proffessional. The only downside to the apartment was a noisy extractor can in the bathroom and the central heating being very difficult to control the to the lack of a thermostat or timer. Overall a very pleasant week spent at Tithebarn.
“Lovely cottage with great location and facilities nearby!”
Some supplies within the cottage (tea/coffee and washing supplies) were super handy to save us from shopping when we first arrived, so we could focus on getting settled after our long drive rather than rushing out to get a cup of tea before the shops closed. Will definitely recommend to others and will look to book again in the future!
“Staff were very friendly when answering queries.”
Check-in ought to be earlier as standard, 3pm is a bit late but you do offer earlier key collection if property is ready. Overall an enjoyable experience, thanks.
“Tithebarn Court is perfectly situated close to the middle of Keswick, directly across the road from Co-op.”
The noise form the road could be quite loud, especially as we were blessed with good weather and needed to have the windows open. However, it probably depends on what one is used to at home as to whether this is unusual. Everything at the apartment was clean, tidy and well-supplied. We had a lovely weekend at Tithebarn Court and can heartily recommend it as a base to explore Keswick
“Excellent position being close to town and all other amenities.”
We would highly recommend this accommodation. The bottle of wine on arrival was a nice surprise and appreciated many thanks.Lilian & Trev Nottingham
“3rd time in this apartment.”
Nice and clean. Has all the facilities including a parking space (albeit very tight). Easy access to the main town. Likely to book again for next year. Just wish the windows kept the noise out. Key and apartment always ready and staff keen to assist.
“A little bit of traffic noise but not enough really to make a fuss about, overall a clean well kept apartment.”
