    • “Great holiday”

    • “The lodge is very close to Keswick town centre only 15 mins walk. Ideally located for climbing Skiddo no car needed. The cabin had everything we needed and all appliances were in perfect condition. It was superbly clean when we arrived and had plenty of games and dvds for entertainment. I must say the double bed was very comfortable with a memory foam mattress. We had not sleep so well in ages. The views from the terrace where superb, very peaceful with loads of birds around. We will definitely book it again. Parking was ample too.”

    • “Even though the weather wasn't on our side the lodge was always warm and welcoming. It was our sons first ever holiday (hes 9months old) and he loved the lodge. The location couldn't have been any better for us and its surroundings were amazing. We will definitely be back!!!”

    • tripadvisor rating
    • “This was our first holiday for a number of years and I was nervous we had picked the right sort of accommodation... I had no need to worry, from opening the door I felt immediately like it was a home from home and both myself and my husband said we could live somewhere like thi all of the time. Stunning views from the balcony. Also the agents were exremely helpful.”

    • “excellent standard of lodge”

    • “The lodge itself was excellent and the owner has clearly thought of all the needs. Bedrooms a lovely size and the deck area was fab for the kids. Cannot fault lodge at all. Only thing that let it down was the location. With 2 small children crossing over the busy road was a worry.”

    • “Burnside Park is lovely and quiet and in a very good position for going into Keswick and further afoot. Tutheren was perfect - very comfortable and cosy. My only comment is about the listing - it may be helpful to mention that there is no Wi-Fi (not a big deal !!) and that there is a dishwasher. Otherwise, we hope to be back. Thank you.”

    • “The lodge cabin was impecable when arrived and everything we needed was there. Little and not so little items as extra blankets, duvets, pillows, all kitchen utensils and plenty of crockery and cutlery. All electrical appliances were in perfect order and very pleased with the double bed mattress (tempur) many thanks for that too. There were many films and games to use which we didn’t have time to try just a couple. A perfect location for climbing skiddo and to Keswick just a short walk. Thanks for making the lodge such a great holiday place.”

    • “The chalet was beautiful, the perfect base for a walking holiday. Everything you could possibly need was provided, fantastic attention to detail. I’ve come home feeling fully recharged after a wonderful, relaxing yet very active week. Outstanding”
