  • “This was our first experience of a UK holiday for many years and we haven’t spent any time in this part of the country before so we were very much looking forward to something new and different and wanted to stay somewhere central to all the areas we wanted to explore on bike and foot during the day and that would great place to relax in the evenings.”

When we arrived at The Heronry we were delighted and were both very impressed with the property and agreed that the photos on the booking site didn’t to it justice! We were greeted by Danielle who gave us a tour of he property and explained how everything including the hot tub, microwave and stove worked. She had also provided us with a bottle of ‘fizz’ and some homemade brownies which were delicious! This kindness was also shown when we were leaving to drive back to Cardiff and Danielle came out to say goodbye and gave us some more cake for the trip and some sweet peas from the garden. We spent a lovely week at The Heronry and cannot thank Danielle and Trevor (Bentley and Rufus the dogs) enough for helping to make our ’UKcation’ perfect. We would recommend The Heronry to anyone, will speak highly of our experience and definitely book to go again soon.
